Commercial Victron off Grid Solar System for Ministry of Fisheries Kiobo, Vanua Levu, Fiji

37.20kWp Commercial Stand-Alone System for Ice Plant in Kiobo, Vanua Levu, Fiji

Solar Fiji has successfully engineered, supplied, and installed a 37.20kWp standalone solar system for the Ministry of Fisheries Kubulau in Kiobo, Vanua Levu, Fiji Islands. The system consists of 93 JA Solar 400W modules, which generate 37.20kWp of power. The modules are DC coupled by 3 Victron Smart Solar Charge Controllers RS 450/200 to ensure optimal performance.

The system also includes 68.4kWh of battery storage using SimpliPhi 48V 3.8kWh Lithium Batteries. The batteries provide continuous power of 48kVA and peak power of 48kVA. Three-phase power is delivered by three Victron Quattro 48/10000 inverters.

The system is designed to deliver three-phase power to the ice plant and is monitored using the Colour Control GX for live system performance data. The system can be monitored remotely using the free Victron VRM.

Overall, this commercial standalone solar system is a reliable and efficient source of power for the ice plant, reducing its reliance on traditional energy sources and providing a sustainable energy solution for the Ministry of Fisheries in Kiobo, Vanua Levu, Fiji Islands.
